The Only Licensed Antibiotic for ‘Bulgy Eye’ in Pheasants due to Mycoplasma gallisepticum.
Aivlosin® is highly effective and quickly reduces all the classical signs of “bulgy eye”, conjunctivitis, Watery eyes, Nasal exudates, Sinus swelling and depression.
Treated birds have increased weight gain and improved feed efficiency over un-medicated birds and the benefits of using Aivlosin® are that it is highly palatable with no reduction in intake of medicated water during treatment period.
Available in convenient pack sizes and with simple dose calculations for 3 day treatment programmes. Short meat and offal withdrawal period of just 2 days.
The excellent solubility of Aivlosin, especially in cold water and short treatment period makes it simple to administer and ideal for use under field conditions.
Available in two convenient pack sizes of a 16g Sachet which is sufficient to treat 1000 six week old Poults for 1 day, as well as a 40g Sachet which is sufficient to treat 1000kg bodyweight of birds for 1 day.

Ecomectin 1% Injection Withdrawal Period Update
The withdrawal period for Ecomectin 1% Injection for Cattle within the EU is now extended to 49 days.
The withdrawl period for Ecomectin 1% Injection for all other species within EU and all species (including cattle) for all countries and regions outside of the EU remains the same.

Aivlosin vs competitor against ileitis in swine
Trial comparing 85 ppm of Aivlosin for 10 days vs 21 days of 110 ppm of tylosin against sub-clinical ileitis/PPE. The study was well controlled and medication with Aivlosin resulted in a better average daily weight gain (821 g/per day vs 788), statistically shorter time to reach slaughter weight (2 days less), statistically significant improvement in homogeneity of the batch and % of lean meat at slaughter.
